About them: MYNAME

MYNAME (마이네임) is a brand new boy group under H2 Media and were personally trained by Fly to the Sky's Hwanhee. MYNAME debut in October 27^th, 2011 with their debut single ‘Message’. They have 5 members are Gunwoo (Leader), Insoo, Seyong, Jun.Q and Chaejin (Maknae). MYNAME generated a lot of attention from netizens by being called 'Hwanhee's boys' and introducing the members one by one through their fan cafe. Even before their debut they received recognition from entertainment companies in Japan and were offered a record deal from Abing Entertainment.

MYNAME practice 18 hours a day, whether it be vocal training, b-boy dancing or even Japanese language skills. Being known as 'Hwanhee's boys' they feel honoured, but also pressured to show more to the audience. Their name means "my name"; that they have a name and a responsibility to live up to it. Their goal right now is for people to recognize their talents through their debut single and they hope to someday they can reach #1 on a music program. All the boys say they look up to TVXQ and hope to someday be like them or reach their level; they've gone as far as calling TVXQ 'perfect' and the best role models.

For rookies, so far they've shown an impressive amount of skill in dancing, singing and rapping. While they may not be perfect, hopefully the group can continue to grow and become one of the top groups of this current K-pop generation.
